Traveling with Children

Infants and children are NOT permitted to ride on the lap of another passenger!

We DO NOT provide child safety seats. Children (including infants) may not sit or ride on the lap of another passenger. We are not able to provide child seats or boosters as each child seat is designed “specifically for each child’s age, height and weight”. We simply are not able to provide the proper size child seat for all sizes of children. As a result, we are not able to offer child seats or boosters.

At Karmel Shuttle, we believe in making transportation as safe as possible while promoting the strongest safety standards for those traveling with children. California State Law requires children of a certain age, height and weight to be secured in a child safety seat. Please be sure to bring one and secure it using the seat belt installed in the vehicle. When booking your transfer, please be sure to indicate the total number of travelers in your party (including all children and infants) as a seat must be reserved for each person in your party. It is the parent’s/guardian’s/care giver’s responsibility to provide the child safety seat. Again, We DO NOT provide child safety seats.
